We were lucky to meet Kate and Jon during our visit to Bristol in 2019. They were both so friendly and welcoming, taking us to some interesting places around the area and sharing the history and stories behind them.
We had actually lived in the UK for eight years before that, but looking back, we often visited places without really knowing much about their history or local culture. Although our time in Bristol was short, Kate and Jon made it such an interesting experience. We came away with a much better understanding of the local culture and saw Bristol in a completely different light.
